What's Going on with the Harper's Hens and a couple of Roosters...

We enjoy living in the country. We moved here when the days were short and there was no time to let the girls out after I got home from work. But now, as soon as I get home, I can let them out for a couple of hours before I have to put them up for the evening.

This is a picture of a delicious treat I give them on special occasions: It's not very much of any one ingredient, but it is lined with Greek organic yogurt, then topped with blueberries and/or blackberries and small pieces of tomato and/or strawberry. It's funny to watch their beaks get covered in yogurt, then wipe their little faces off in the grass, or on my shoulder, whichever is convenient.

WHAT CHICKENS SAY

Nae-Nae

My human mommy loves me even though I turned out to be a cockerel and not a pullet.   She gives me treats every day !

Vani and Cinny

My mommy is the BEST!  We get hugs and bugs and we get to roam all over the yard every day and look for good things to eat.  We love her.

My Mom adopted me.  I am living my best Rooster life here with her sweet girls.  I love them all but Cinny here is my favorite hen.   I am super happy.
