My husband and I have relocated the "farm" to our own patch of land in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are so excited to be a part of a new community in Burke County, NC. We recently celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary in our new home.

Chickens
Prior to March 9, 2023 I was talking to my boss about raising chickens. He offered to purchase three from the "chicken store" and bring them to work. I agreed to pay him back and take them home to raise. So, on March 9th, I became a chicken mama to three of the littlest, cutest, sweetest baby pullets ever!!.
